We have also returned to the Bosco di Capodimonte!

In this new phase of the pandemic, we are gradually trying to recover our usual spaces, among which the Bosco di Capodimonte is one of those we are most fond of. How did we find it? It must be said that the works to restore the forest to the conditions prior to the October 2019 storm are quite advanced, even if several side avenues are forbidden. But what immediately catches the eye are the anti-COVID-19 measures, which consist in regulating access to the avenues, reserving two dedicated avenues for cyclists and joggers, while the others are for strollers. Let's take a look, assuming to enter by car from Porta Piccola, even if in case of exhausted parking you can enter from Porta Miano:

The visit to the wood starts from Porta di Mezzo:

The Porcelain Manufactory:

The Giant Statue:

And when you get to the Statue of the Giant, the main avenue ends and you go back: starting from Porta Miano and returning, the odometer of our Triride has marked six kilometers, all very easy. A stop at the Capodimonte Cafè (*) to refresh ourselves and then at home, waiting to return for the new exhibitions, since the Museum has now been reopened.

To keep up to date also on times and methods of access to the Museum, the website is: http://www.museocapodimonte.beniculturali.it
