But who were these Sidicini?

It is really true that the more you go on in the years, the more you realize you don't know anything! One for a lifetime identifies Teano with the location of the meeting between Garibaldi and Vittorio Emanuele, then one day he visits the aforementioned town and discovers how rich it is in history and in evidence of an important past. We began our visit to Teano starting from the Archaeological Museum of Teanum Sidicinum (https://www.beniculturali.it/luogo/museo-archeologico-di-teanum-sidicinum). The museum exhibits finds from excavations in the ancient center and in the territory of Teanum Sidicinum, inhabited by an Oscan-speaking Italic population, the Sidicini, who developed their own original figurative culture since the 6th century BC. In short, we are facing one of the many small and precious museums that are scattered throughout Campania and that we will make known whenever possible. A few minutes drive from the center of Teano, we find the Roman Theater of Teanum Sidicinum (http://musei.beniculturali.it/musei?mid=821&nome=teatro-romano-di-teanum-sidicinum), home to theatrical performances; it is possible to access it in the chair, with some limitations and a certain caution.

For lunch, just outside the city we found this restaurant, located inside Villa Guerrera, a beautiful structure that also hosts events and parties:
